Posted:19-09-03 12:00:00

On September 2, Muesee Kazapua, Mayor of Windhoek, capital of Namibia and also a sister city of Suzhou, visited HIGER, receiving warm reception from Xu Jianzhong, Vice General Manager of HIGER.

Xu introduced HIGER's development history, R&D and export situation to Kazapua, with emphasis on HIGER's development in Africa and Namibia. Kazapua recognized HIGER's development in Namibia and expressed his thanks. Leaders of both sides held a friendly discussion on future cooperation in public transport system, government shuttle bus and investment in Namibia. Namibian President Hage Gottfried Geingob was impressed by HIGER's products and services during visiting HIGER in 2018, said Kazapua, hoping to write the public transport cooperation with HIGER into the framework of Windhoek-Suzhou sister cities agreement, and expecting that HIGER would provide more technical and product support for Windhoek's public transport system.

Since entering Africa in 2004, HIGER has moved into over 40 African countries like Algeria, Angola, Zambia, Nigeria and Namibia after nearly 15 years of continuous operations. Since starting to export products to Namibia in 2012, HIGER has held the largest share in the local Chinese bus market, earning market recognition by good adaptability, outstanding product quality and all-round services.

Over the years, China and Africa have helped each other with one mind, and embarked upon a distinctive path of win-win cooperation. As a guardian for China-Africa friendship, HIGER will continue to participate in China-Africa cooperation to provide the African people with better transport solutions.
